This course is aimed at those people who wish to work as a farm manager, share farmer or may be contemplating farm ownership. You will have direct responsibility for running a complete farming enterprise but you may report to others.

  • Advising on selection and manufacturing / preparation
Duration
Can be undertaken over 24 months full time or 48 months part time equivalent
Requirements
A total of 10 units of competency must be completed
  • Select 4 units from Group A below
  • Select 4 units from Group A and/or B below
  • Select 2 additional units from Group B and/or C below
Units should be selected from Group A and Group B in accordance with local work undertaken and local industry advice.

Requirements
IIFP must be granted access to workplace staff and training/assessment rescources
    to meet the requirements of candidates with special needs and modify
    an assessment approach that incorporates reasonable adjustments to their needs.
