IIFP Trainer Profiles
Stephan Knoll
Stephan is the director of the Registered Training Organisation, “Independent Institute of Food Processing” He trains and consults in the areas of Retail service & Meat Retail, Smallgoods Manufacturing, Food & Meat Processing and Workplace Training and Assessment, including Food Safety.

He also provides training programs for rural production to encompass the full paddock to plate concept needed in industry.

With his specialist background in Food processing, Smallgoods Manufacturing and meat production, Stephan offers a highly skilled and knowledgeable contribution to meat and food technology.

His in-depth knowledge and practical application of skills and manufacturing technologies will benefit both the beginner and specialist at their level of experience. Other enterprises operated by him include Primary production as a Primary Producer and Horse stables registered as Treuendorf Stables

Susan Knoll
Susan's primary role is as the RTO Administration manager.

She also trains and consults in Meat & Food Retail, Smallgoods Products & Food Processing. She manages our rural facility at Kersbrook and provades training in farm management qualifications.

With her specialist background in Continental Delicatessen Service, Susan is highly skilled and has sound product knowledge. Her practical applications of skills, preparation & marketing, as well as customer service, are an asset.

Susan’s background in Retail Management gives her the ability to assist industry develop management, marketing and training infrastructure.

Cees Wesselingh
Areas of expertise:
Meat Processing – retail, smallgoods manufacturing, food/meat safety, management.
Sales representative/promotion

Cees has had many years experience in the meat industry, and is pleased to pass on his knowledge and skills through the role as a trainer & assessor.
He has been involved in the industry in everything from general butcher duties, to shop manager, sales representative, manufacturing
through to business owner.

Cees's utmost pride in his workmanship and his drive to produce work of the highest standard makes him an ideal trainer and assessor.

Tom Knoll
Areas of expertise:
Hospitality-Food & beverage, cooking, First Aid, Occupational Health & safety, Meat Processing, Rural Operations - Farming, Livestock.

Tom is a food service, food & beverage & front of house operative and has several years experience both in australia and europe.

He is responsible for courses undertaken in our training rooms in Elizabeth west and regularly runs Food Service, cooking and food related courses for schools and job seekers.

John Stoyel

Meat Processing, Meat Safety, Abattoirs, Slaughtering

John is a highly experienced Quality Assurance Operative with over 40 years working within the Meat Industry.

He has the ability to assist in all aspects of meat processing, meat inspection, implementing quality assurance programs,
and is an excellent communicator with first-rate training and presentation skills.

Major strengths include creating quality assurance manuals, computer skills, conducting quality assurance audits and a positive and flexible outlook.

Terry Hinsley
Areas of expertise:
Food processing, Baking, Production Management, Food Safety, Dangerous goods

Terry has had over 27years experience as a baker, his accumulated skills and knowledge make him an expert in the field.

Terry has experience in working in some of the largest and most reputable bakeries in the state. Here he refined his skills in the production of Sour Dough Rye bread, European specialty breads and Continental Fancy breads.

He also has an extensive knowledge of Production management, HACCP and food safety standards; including sound team leadership, administrative, technical and problem solving skills.

Terry’s passion for producing quality products along with his highly developed work ethics makes him an ideal trainer and assessor.
