This course provides students with skills and knowledge to work in the horse breeding sector of the agriculture industry at the level of a skilled operator. Content may include maintaining horse health and welfare, planning and constructing conventional fencing, coordinating work site activities, educating and riding horses, carrying out mare mating procedures, rearing newborn and young livestock and assessing conformation of horses.
