Career Opportunities |
This course is for people who work or who want to work in the retail baking sector of the food processing industry in hot bread shops, franchises, in-store bakeries and similar outlets. You will learn to produce and bake a variety of breads using baking equipment and machinery. You will also learn to work safely and effectively and monitor operational processes in the retail baking sector.

Entry Requirements |
Can be undertaken over 48 months full time (or part time equivalent). Students can enter at any stage. The training is ongoing to ensure there are no waiting periods for training to start.

Certificate Requirements |
4 Core units plus total of 9 specialist/optional units incl. 4 units made up of:
    1 unit from the AQF 1 specialist or optional sets.
    At least 1 and up to 3 units from the AQF 3 specialist or optional sets.
    A maximum of 2 units from the AQF 2 specialist or optional sets.

IIFP must be granted access to workplace staff and training/assessment rescources
