Career Opportunities

This course has been designed to develop skills for an advanced processing operator who is involved in a fruit and/or vegetable processing enterprise

On completion of this Certificate. Graduates can progress through various levels up to Advanced Diploma, using a range of study modes

Duration

Can be undertaken over 24 months full time or 36 months part time equivalent.
Students can enter at any stage. The training is ongoing to ensure there are no waiting periods for training to start.

Requirements

Total of 4 Core Units & a total of 9 Specialist/Optional Units made up of:

FDFZPRSYS3A Operate processes in a production system**Plus: 2 pre-requisite AQF 2 units.
Or FDFZPKSYS3A Operate processes in a packaging system**Plus: 2 pre-requisite AQF 2 units
Plus 6 Units made up of:
- At least 2 and up to 5 units from the AQF 3 specialist or optional sets.
- 1 unit from the AQF 1 specialist or optional sets.
- A maximum of 3 units from the AQF 2 specialist or optional sets.
- A maximum of 1 unit from the AQF 4 set of units.

Requirements

IIFP must be granted access to workplace staff and training/assessment rescources
